Welcome to SMES Polytechnic
 The Institute… Shree Mahavir Education Society’s (SMES) Institute of Technology, Polytechnic is a Technical Institute recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (Government of India), New Delhi and approved by Department of Higher and Technical Education (Government of Maharashtra) and affiliated to the Board of Technical Education, Mumbai. SMES is also a registered Trust with Charity Commissioner under Societie’s Act.
The Institute at present offers three year courses leading to Diploma in Engineering.The total intake capacity of the Institute is 720 students.
SMES who has promoted this Polytechnic College founded its roots in the year 1999 with an aim to provide and preserve high standard in Technical Education and offer those courses which are in line with the requirement of Society/Industries with a moto "VIDYA PARAM DAIVATHAM" ("KNOWLEDGE IS THE ALMIGHTY") appropriate to guide the minds of the students for their further career. The Institute is planned on 27 acres of spacious campus with a futuristic view to add many more Centers of learning.
